A lot of the connectors are concentrated on the right side of the board and this can give rise to a few cable conflicts with things like HDD's getting in the way, but if you have a case with a choice of HDD mounting slots you can easily overcome these minor niggles. The CPU temperature sensor is one of those bendy wire things, so make sure you peel the paper off the underside of the chip and carefully curve the temp wire over into a U shape so that it springs up and presses flat against the underside of the centre part of the chip for best accuracy.

Alienware in-fact did use Raidmax cases for some of their computers in that era. The hardware is there only to provide a reference for sizing and fit. I know Raidmax is mostly El-Cheapo case company, and i can hear the plastic squick from those pictures alone, but damn Contrasting it are matte-black vertical slats.
